In connection with the celebration of the Day of the National Flag of the capital and 22 th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine in the city center will be limited to the movement of vehicles.

So, tomorrow, 23 August, at the ceremony of raising the National Flag of Ukraine near the building of the Kyiv city state administration, from 9:00 to 11:00 will be denied transportation vehicles on the Khreshchatyk Street (from the Instytutska  Street to street Bohdana Khmelnytskoho).

Khreshchatyk Street from the Bessarabska to the European Square will also be closed to traffic on August 23 from 22:00 to 22:00 on August 25.

In addition, on August 24 during a wreath-laying ceremony may be a temporary restriction of movement of vehicles near the entrances to the monuments to Taras Shevchenko, Mykhailo Hrushevsky and Volodymyr the Great.

Roughly from 12:00 to 14:30 on Saturday, August 24, will be suspended the movement of all modes of transport at the time of carnival action "Ukrainian parade vyshivanok 2013." Which will take place along the route: street Lavrska - an area of Fame - street Ivana Mazepy - street Hrushevskoho - street Shovkovychna- Instytutska  Street – Maidan Nezhalezhnosti.

Also during the state measures metro station " Maidan Nezhalezhnosti " may be closed at the entrance and exit for passengers. During this period, the station will operate only as a transfer hub.
But in the night from 24 to 25 August of the subway will be extended by 30 minutes.
